Was railfanning the CP line at the CPR Lambton Yard in the Junction area of Toronto on the weekend when I photographed this oddity.
Looks like it could make a neat scratchbuilding project. Anyone know what it is?

Mini-box converted into an office or bunk car for company service?
It’s definitely not a mini-box, but it does appear to be a pre-war 10’0″ interior height car.
The conversion is definitely a bunk or office car for work train service, but hard to say what configuration exactly.
Any thought what HO car I’d use here to start off the process of building this?
For this one in particular looks like the True Line Trains 10’0″ CP CC&F car will do.
CP converted all sorts of different cars to work cars.
